Join TOCApalooza: Music, Food, and Art in Torrance

TOCApalooza, the revamped and expanded version of The South Bay Festival of the Arts, is set to make a grand return with an all-day festival experience on Saturday, June 22, from 11am to 5pm PDT. Held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center located at 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA, the event promises a vibrant celebration of the arts, featuring entertainment on three stages, a wide array of arts vendors, and a delectable selection of foods and beverages.

Three Stages of Entertainment

TOCApalooza will feature three stages offering a diverse lineup of performances. The Torrance Refining Company Stage on the Torino Plaza will showcase:

  • The Rayford Brothers from 11am to 12:30pm, blending Country-influenced Rock and Blues.
  • Blue Breeze Band from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, delivering the finest Motown R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Blues.
  • PT & The Cruisers from 3:00pm to 4:30pm, performing dance hits from the 60s to the present.

The Armstrong Theatre Schedule includes a variety of acts such as the Peninsula Symphony’s Youth Orchestra, Sabor de México, and the South Bay Public Choir, with performances throughout the day.

Over at the Nakano Theatre, audiences can enjoy acts like the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band – Flute Ensemble, magician Jonathan Neal, and the McNulty Irish Dancers, among others.

Food and Beverage Delights

Food offerings at TOCApalooza will come from some of the best culinary kitchens in the South Bay, including Cerda Vega Tacos, Felice Italian Catering, Gelinos Ice Cream, Kona Ice of Carson, and many more. Attendees can also enjoy beverages from local vendors such as Absolution Brewing, Burnin Daylight, Scholb Ales, and Vondor Wine.

Arts and Crafts Vendors

The festival will feature a wide range of arts and crafts vendors, showcasing works from Destination Art, Linda’s Crafts, Love Me Some Flowers, Paul Henry Fresco, Rosy’s Boutique, and many others. Attendees can explore and purchase unique creations ranging from fine art and jewelry to handmade soaps and clothing.

With free admission and parking for all attendees, TOCApalooza promises a full day of arts, entertainment, and community spirit. New artists and vendors are continually being added, so be sure to check back for the latest updates.
