Sunset Cinema returns this year with a celebration of animation, presented by Coca-Cola. In collaboration with Denver Film, Denver Arts & Venues offers a lineup of five films, showcasing the creative brilliance of animators like Wes Anderson and the dynamic world of the Spider-Verse. This event promises to captivate fans with characters and stories full of international intrigue and superhero escapades.

The event kicks off with a showcase of student work from CU Denver’s Digital Animation Center. To enhance the movie night experience, themed photo booths, lawn games, food trucks, drinks, and cinema snacks will be available. This blend of entertainment ensures a delightful evening for all attendees.

Admission to Sunset Cinema is free, though registration is required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by pre-show entertainment at 7:00 p.m., and the films beginning at 7:30 p.m. Limited seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Arriving early is recommended, as those entering before 7 p.m. can win a VIP seat upgrade and prize pack from Coca-Cola.

Attendees should review the Permitted & Prohibited Items page for guidelines on what to bring. Bags will be checked upon entry. The event is hosted at Sculpture Park @ Arts Complex, 1400 Curtis St, Denver, CO 80202.
