Epic Games Offers Free Arcade Paradise Game Download
Epic Games is offering a free download of Arcade Paradise, an immersive game where players can transform a laundromat business into a bustling arcade. The game, available for free until July 25, 2024, at 12:00 PM, features over 35 fully realized arcade games, each with its own unique gameplay, stories, missions, and high scores to set.
Inspired by three decades of gaming, Arcade Paradise allows players to experience the evolution of video games from early vector games to the 32-bit era. The game includes a variety of cooperative and competitive arcade games for up to four players locally. Players can prove their skills by setting high scores and uploading them to online leaderboards.
The soundtrack of Arcade Paradise captures the essence of the early ’90s, with tracks that evoke nostalgia. The game’s design pays homage to the ’90s arcade culture, from the look and feel of the arcades to the use of a PC connected to a dial-up connection. Doug Cockle, known for his voice acting in the Witcher series, voices the character of Ashley’s father, Gerald, who offers advice and reminders throughout the game.
