Movie Night in the Park Featuring Spy Kids

Enjoy Spy Kids at Movie Night in the Park

This summer, Van Ness Main Street and UDC are hosting Movie Night in the Park at the UDC Amphitheater. Sponsored by Wegman’s at City Ridge, Edmund Burke School, Calvert Woodley, Erich Cabe Real Estate Team, and Superlative Events, this year’s series features a selection of popular films.

The park opens before each film, allowing attendees to enjoy a picnic. Outside food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, are allowed, and guests are encouraged to bring seat cushions or picnic blankets. All films will feature closed captioning/subtitles for an inclusive experience.

Located off Yuma Street behind the UDC tennis courts, the UDC Amphitheater is situated in a wooded hillside. It offers rows of wooden seating and grassy areas, with the front row/area reserved for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. The venue is accessible via walking paths from Yuma Street or Windom Place.

In the event of bad weather, the film will be canceled. Attendees registered via Eventbrite will be notified by email, and updates will be available on the Van Ness Main Street Facebook page and Twitter @VanNessMainSt.

Join the Spy Kids screening on Saturday, September 14, from 7:30 to 10:30 PM EDT at the UDC Amphitheater in the Woods, located off Yuma Street behind the UDC tennis courts in Washington, DC.
