The Castrol Barrett-Jackson Sweepstakes is giving car enthusiasts a chance to win an exclusive trip to the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The sweepstakes, sponsored by BP Lubricants USA Inc, runs from August 20, 2024, through December 1, 2024.
To enter, participants need to visit the designated landing page and complete the online entry form. The grand prize includes a trip for the winner and one adult guest to attend the Barrett-Jackson Auction from January 19 to January 26, 2025. The trip package, valued at approximately $5,000, includes round-trip coach air transportation for two from a major commercial airport near the winner’s home to Phoenix, Arizona, seven nights of standard accommodations, a rental car, $400 for incidentals, lunch, dinner, and daily entrance to the auction.
In addition to the trip, the winner will receive a $40,000 credit to bid on and purchase one vehicle during the auction. This credit can only be used at the auction and must be applied toward the purchase of a single vehicle. The winner is required to register as a bidder and sign the necessary agreements with Barrett-Jackson. Any costs exceeding the $40,000 credit, including commissions, taxes, and fees, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The sponsor will also cover up to $4,000 in bidding commissions and transportation fees to deliver the purchased vehicle to the winner. If these fees total less than $4,000, the winner will not receive the difference. If the winner does not place a winning bid at this auction, the funds will be returned to the sponsor.
