Blue Star Museums Program Offers Free Admission for Military Families

The Blue Star Museums program, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in partnership with the Department of Defense and museums across America, provides free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. The 2024 program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 18, 2024, and concludes on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.

This initiative offers military families the opportunity to explore a wide range of museums, including children’s museums, art museums, history and science museums, zoos, and nature centers. The program aims to support and honor the service of military members and their families by giving them access to enriching cultural experiences.
